Urban Sustainability
Sustainability science was the theme of the 2012 LTER Network Mini-Symposium and the 2012 Network Science Council meeting. During the Science Council meeting, we convened a group of LTER scientists who have an interest in urban systems research in general and, in particular, in urban sustainability. We propose to continue those discussions by inviting a larger group with urban interests. Our work will coordinate closely with the recently funded Urban Sustainability SEES RCN and discussions will focus on:
- Advancing one or more RCN Working Group objectives
- Beginning a synthetic paper
- Coordinating proposal submissions
