Does LTER All Science include Sustainability Science?
Are you a sustainability scientist? You may be by your publications, your institutional affiliations, or your research.
Over the last decade the publications, programs, and use-inspired research that constitute sustainability science have grown rapidly. LTER Scientists should be part of this effort but it is not apparent from what is said on your web sites although it does emerge in the aspirations of your network planning documents.
To go beyond aspiration may involve significant change, but the journey can be organizationally innovating, socially useful, and most important, scientifically stimulating.
